How have we supported them?
With the support of Teamwork IMS, Westcon-Comstor’s Swindon (UK) and Houten (Netherlands) operations have implemented and maintained an integrated environmental, information security and supply chain security management system alongside their existing quality management system.
To further support Westcon-Comstor’s ESG commitments and goals, the business wished to expand the scope of its ISO certifications with the implementation of an integrated quality and environmental management system for its APAC region operations located in NSW Australia, Auckland New Zealand, and Singapore.
One of the major challenges and vital to certification was to establish and maintain legal registers for each of the locations and Teamwork IMS were able to propose a solution that helped Westcon-Comstor to navigate the complex landscape of compliance across the APAC region.
How have they benefitted?
Working together with Teamwork IMS, Westcon-Comstor successfully implemented the ISO certification project and were awarded ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification by LRQA for their APAC operations at those locations covering ‘Distribution of IT related products including product staging, bespoke configuration, customer stock holding and reverse logistics solutions’.
Alongside showcasing compliance with international best practices, the certification has also united Westcon-Comstor’s APAC teams across the globe. Together, the APAC teams drove the certification forward by working to the same systems and using the knowledge held within the teams to share across the region to develop best practice.
Congratulations to Westcon-Comstor APAC and the warehouse teams in all locations, trade compliance based in Singapore for the region, all of whom were actively engaged with the project, fully supported by the leadership team.
